Home-Visiting Volunteer Training - 8 x weeks

Home-Start believes that every family is special and we respond to each family’s need through a combination of home visiting and social events.

We offer a unique service to families by recruiting and training volunteers, who are usually parents themselves, to visit families at home who have at least one child under 5, offering them informal, confidential and friendly support. Family life is important for all children but especially in their early years.

Home Visiting Volunteer Preparation TrainingTraining usually takes place over 8 sessions, once a week on a weekday.
