Companion to a Fall is a sculptural installation by artist Kira Freije. The exhibition has been made whilst thinking about complicity and culpability. How we choose which thoughts to embody or enact, and the moralistic mechanisms that inhibit or propel us.

A ring exists around our movements, our being and our thinking. The ring is of our own making, its gape can widen or shrink.

What or who gives us this energy?

I think about leadership.

How cruelty and compassion come from the same face, the same smile, the same continuous thought.
