Fraser Nimmo is a Scottish singer/songwriter who combines traditional songs with his own material in an organic melange of Celtic musicality.

His songs cover the whole gamut of human experience: love, hate, loss, injustice, fear, outrage, bewilderment and Scotland!

Essentially a serious songwriter, Fraser delivers his songs with flair, wit and compassion, often raising more than the occasional eyebrow, glass, roof, chuckle and consciousness.

An expert guitar and banjo player, he uses simple accompaniments to reflect his less-is-more approach to music.

He has travelled hither and thither with tours across Europe and to Canada and appearances at many festivals including Cropredy, Cambridge and Edinburgh.

Fraser’s invitation to be Fairport Convention’s special guest on their mammoth 30th anniversary tour of Britain contributed to his reputation as being one of Scotland’s furthest travelled and best loved musical ambassadors.

The most recent of Fraser’s six albums is 'The Best of Five'.

In case you are wondering where you may have seen him, his acting work includes appearances on 'The Bill' and 'Never Mind The Buzzcocks'.
